                        ABOUT US ....

                        Picture
Andy has ran reptile rescue centres throughout the UK since the age of 15 .
His first  mission was a clutch of Grass snake eggs rescued from a manure spreader and about to be scattered all over a field.
He took the eggs home and incubated them in a plant propogator.
The result was 24 hatchling snakes that were fed and nurtured until they could safely be returned to their home in the wild.
Since that day many hundreds maybe thousands of animals have been taken in and rehabilitated.

Work experience students also join us from time to time and their input is greatly appreciated.

"Swindon Reptile Rescue" take in on average 2 - 3 animals every week and this can be as many as 6 or more at certain times  ( Generaly after christmas )
We make no judgements about their previous owners and run a completely free of charge professional service.
We can collect from you at your home or you are welcome to visit us here with your animal on an appointment basis.
Our aim is to give the animals a caring , forever home either with us or an experienced rehomer.
We have a small data base of individuals seeking to adopt but are always on the look out for more.
All our rehomers are rigorously vetted by Andy and his team of volunteers and home visits will be made in all new adoption cases.
Any animal that is rehomed MUST be returned to us in the unlikely event that a new owner gets into difficulty.
A large number of the animals have missing limbs and some are extremely aggressive so please think carefuly before contacting us .
